  1. The water in the old one looks 100× better it's like swapping a 1060 and replacing it with 950 and saying it's better that's just the worst remaster I've seen

  2. The original one they show off in this video was the pc version which actually looks a bit better than the ps3 and 360 version…

  3. The frame rate is fucking abysmal in some of the jungle areas on Dead Island Definitive Edition. It's almost like the developers lost interest in remastering their game and said "meh, screw it. Nobody will buy it anyway!" Not to mention the god awful and downright stomach sickening blur effects they added to the game which looks terrible. Why add those effect and not give us the options to disable them? The incompetence is staggering.

I couldn't give less of a fuck about Dead Island 2, now. No way I'm buying that garbage.

  4. This is one of the few great remasters, people who watch comparison videos in less than 720p-1080p and only notice color differences are a disgrace. It's ok if you prefer the original color, but this is a great remaster of a 2011 game to 2016, check the DF article with the screenshots in high resolution. 30fps is the only real problem, the colors you can easily change in your own tv, but playing the remaster i didn't really miss the old saturation, most of the game still have the same feel, not a big change really.

  5. i had to buy the original off g2a for a friend to play with, the new version of dead island runs alot slower and just doesn't feel as fun

  6. all these people saying the original looks better need to get their eyes checked. Or maybe it is because you cant afford a new console or pc and have to pretend the original looks better to make yourselves feel better. I have had the original on pc and this new version looks leaps and bounds better than that buggy old piece of shit

  7. Lmao am I the only one here who prefers the newer version? It's less glitchy than the original when I played it.
